Mana tidaknya, Jika tidak kerana kedegilannya untuk terus berpaut pada jawatan nombor satu negeri itu, sudah lama kemelut pelantikan ketua kerajaan negeri itu dapat diselesaikan.
Sebaik majlis angkat sumpah jawatan Menteri Besar Terengganu ditangguhkan pada 10 Mac lalu, Idris sendiri sudah maklum bahawa punca utama penangguhan itu ialah beliau sendiri.
